What We Believe
The
Bible is
the inspired, infallible Word of God: written by Holy men of
old as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. II Peter 1:20-21
In
One God who is infinite in power, Holy in nature, attribute, and purpose.
Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. John 1:1, 14; Eph. 4:5,
6
Father in creation,
Son in redemption and Holy
Spirit in His comforting grace that
never leaves those that trust in Him. I Cor. 8:6; Eph. 4:6; II
Cor. 5:19, Joel 2:28
That
in Jesus Christ dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead; for it pleased
the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell. Col. 1:19,20;
2:9; Eph. 4:1-4
Born of the
Virgin Mary, that Jesus was both human divine, God manifest in
the flesh. Matt. 1: 1-25; John 1:1-12
In
the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus we believe that He ascended
on high and sent His Spirit, the Holy
Ghost, which was poured
out at Jerusalem over 2000 years ago, and is still filling the
hearts of those who diligently seek Him today. John 19:30; Luke
23:50-56; Matt. 28:1-10; John 14:15-21; Acts 1:6-11; Acts 2:14
In
the Baptism in the water by immersion, in the Name of the Father,
Son, and
the Holy Ghost. The immersion is symbolic of the co-death, co-burial,
and co-resurrection in Christ, to be dead unto sin, bu alive
unto God in Christ Jesus. Matt. 3:11; Matt. 28:18-20; Rom. 6:4;
Gal. 3:27; Col. 2:12
There is hope
through the confession of our sin that Christ has come down from
heaven, died, and has risen. Every one, each individual, who
calls on the Name of Jesus will be saved. Thus God is faithful
still, and this Gospel message is in full harmony with the Word
God spoke in the Old Testament. Deut. 30:12-14; Rom. 3:23; Rom
5:8, Rom. 6:23; Rom. 10:9,10; Eph. 2:8-10
